Looking at some of the discussion in here, the falling of
coconuts is rather widespread.....sounds like a lot of them took my advice
too......

Hi Jamie,
my experience with the Egyptians is that they are friendly, helpful and in
no way dangerous (except maybe for the shop keepers, they can be annoying)
and that Egypt is a safe country where (tourist)police does a lot of
checking and they are present everywhere to give you a very safe feeling..
It takes only one or just a few lunatics to ruin your vacation and maybe
your life. And you can meet them anytime, anywhere. Chances that you run
into them in Egypt are not that much higher than in Paris, London or New
York (or Cairo .
Looks like a wonderful trip you've planned. Enjoy it!
