Dont let it put you off though, the red sea is pretty good all round and shouldnt be missed by any self respecting freediver or scuba diver -- Alison Jameson - Deeper Blue Beach Snoozer See ya lata :girlie ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Posted via DeeperBlue.net - Your Online Resource for the UnderWater World. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Alison Jameson's Profile: http://forums.deeperblue.net/member....fo&userid=2637 View this thread on DeeperBlue.net: http://forums.deeperblue.net/showthr...threadid=50316 ----== Posted via Newsfeed.Com - Unlimited-Uncensored-Secure Usenet News==---- http://www.newsfeed.com The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! >100,000 Newsgroups ---= 19 East/West-Coast Specialized Servers - Total Privacy via Encryption =--- |

| I've been out to Dahab a few time and thought it was great. A few people got gyppy belly but nothing too bad- the hotels are all finished and the cafes and bars are great. No boats anywhere though so it's all shore diving. The best place seems to be Divers Down Under at the Seven Heaven Hotel- well set up for all standards of diving (not sure about techies though) Pete "Alison Jameson" <Alison.Jameson.16keaz@forums.deeperblue.net> wrote in message news:Alison.Jameson.16keaz@forums.deeperblue.net.. . > > Gordon Henderson wrote: > > *If its your first time, you will get a tummy upset, its guaranteed > > > > I disagree! Most of the diving is shore diving but there are a few boats. There are a couple of sharm style day boats and a few ribs around. These give access to rarely dived sites that can't be accessed by jeep. There is some fabulous coral and a few bigger fish to been seen at these sites. Food was fine but I don't think will be any michelin stars awarded Nick |
