Medical Certificate for Egypt

Hello about a week ago there was a posting on a newsgourp (i think it was
this one) about needing a medicial certificate for diving in Egypt now.
Does anyone know if the BSAC self certificate is suitable or if you can buy
these certificates in Egypt or you need to get them done in the UK.
Currently I dive on the self certificate for BSAC, my colleague who has a
certificate which is older than 1 year due to the doctor saying ocme back in
three years would also need to get one if this is the case.
