| Tonights Express and Star (Midlands paper) Solihull man's LloydTsb insurance policy refuse to pay out for £40k's worth of decompression treatment as 'he had gone below their small print of 30M'.Hospital says he has 'type 2 bends' and needs up to 3 weeks treatment at 6 hours per day , and £344 per hour Family say he was 'highly experienced advanced open water diver' and 'qualified to go far deeper than this' but 'probably didn't know of the small print'. (AOW limit is 30M, 40M with 'Deep' speciality done). Tour company says he was down at 49.5M immediately before his problem. |
