St. Vincent & Grenadines

We're visiting St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

1) Any suggestions on dive sites to check out or avoid?

2) Any suggestions on dive operators to use or avoid?

3) Any comments on the conditions or type of diving to be prepared for?

4) Any suggestions on a guide book for diving?

5) Did I ask the right questions?

Searching online it appears that the only dive guide book is around 10 years
old. We ordered it but it hasn't arrived yet.

We're going the first two weeks of October. Yes, we know it's hurricane
season but we're still going. We bought a super insurance policy through
DAN that allows us to cancel in the event of a named storm and is a great
policy. We're doing a bareboat charter with Sunsail and will be starting in
St. Vincent and sailing ourselves for 10 days. I have 90 logged dives and
my wife has 30. Most of our diving is in Channel Islands California but we
dove the British Virgin Islands last year and I have dove all over the
place. We're not into extreme diving, we only use air (not nitrox). I love
photography. We rarely hunt.
