I visited Fiji in July and had no difficulty using my own K-valve regs on
their hire tanks. I dont think Fiji operators are really that much
different to most other places in the world - both K and Din would be
catered for.

So, if they have K-valve tanks, then you shouldnt have any difficulties
getting your tanks filled with the same valve types.

Cheers

A lot of the dive operators in Fiji come from OZ or NZ and even the US,
they even speak English ! Suggest you surf the web to find and email
address of an operator in Fiji and ask your questions.
Cheers Geoff

Default Fiji Equipment Standards?

I know you are Aussies, but you're closer than we are in New Mexico, so I
thought someone might be able to help us with this. My wife and I are moving
to Fiji next month and trying to decide what to
bring with us. Are our regular K-valves on tanks and regs OK, or is
everything in Fiji DIN?
Thanks!
