Do you really think that the guy was a gun collector? FYI on Brasilian market 32 cal. revolvers are quite popular. Police attributes the weak penetration power to badly conserved rounds. I`d guess revolver rounds aren't rimfire, but which .32 has seven rounds? I didn't see anything about revolver anywhere in those links. > > > > > > > >, so it gives good probability that > > > ammo was 0.32 S&W Long and as I remember it is reloadable. > > > In the case the authorities suspect ammo to be in bad shape due to bad > > > conservation. > > > BTW the perpetrator was 48-years old truck driver, what also explains a > > > lot. > > > > So, in other words, it could have been a rimfire cartridge, and you're > > talking even further out your ass than Francis was. > > 32 rim fire? Do you really think that the guy was a gun collector? While I've seen 7 shot revolvers before, I can't say that I've ever seen one in a .32. Are they popular in Brazil? > FYI on Brasilian market 32 cal. revolvers are quite popular. > So, in other words, if you state that it could be rim fire - CITE Do 32 rimfire weapons exist? I'm fairly certain they do (as I've seen quite a few). A few minutes of research should provide you with plenty of proof that they do, in fact, exist. That being the case, and considering that the reports never specified rimfire versus centerfire or any specific information that could lead you to the conclusion that it it one or the other, it *could be* rimfire. |

Are you really so dumb? 32 rimfire ammo AFAIK is collector's item and IIRC hasn't been manufactured at least since 1995. So probability of using such an ammo is really marginal. > > Was it an old pistol laying around? You have to ask the guy. > > Aluminum case? > > Berdan primed? A little Jack Russell would be bad enough. And Chihuahua's have seriously pointy little feet that could easily impale the boys. Yer right. Lapdogs are meant to lie. JF |
