Ah, Scuzzbutt and Trailertrash still remember me. That's really sweet. Ya know, it's really great having you both in my killfile. It makes reading this ng a bit easier to stomach, not that there's much here to be bothered reading. Based on all the responses to your drivel, I do find it amazing that you twits spend so much time online and post so much -- it must be some kind of compensation for your lack of any kind of social life. At various times Geo, chilly and John have had you both reeling, spinning and sliding around so much on your own bullshit, there really is no need for me to jump in at all. If the US was composed entirely of idiots like you 2, I'd say your country was utterly lost and hopeless. Fortunately, I know some real Americans. <snip> --- Mike from Ottawa |

I know I said I was done with this thread but I woke up this morning to such a lovely day I just had to share with y'all. Last night the wind started blowing and the snow started swirling. Today they're closing schools and the plows are out clearing the snowfall off the layer of ice stuck to all the roads. Driving will be an adventure today. It's windy, and colder than a witch's teat. On the plus side I checked the long range weather and we should be back up to 50 degrees by Tuesday. Talk about mood swings. It's no wonder the US was settled more heavily than this frigid wasteland. Only a total frickin' idjit would have turned north in the good ole days. Ponce de Leon would never have recognized the fountain of youth if it was frozen over. Just think. If there'd been no fountain of youth all those oldsters would never have been lured to Florida in the first place. Then there'd have been no mobile home industry and the market for polyester would have died decades ago, not to mention what might have happened to the prune industry. JF |

Talk about mood swings. Heh, heh, heh. Here in the States, it's Thanksgiving, a national holiday. We woke up mid morning to a beautiful, crisp, clear day. We'll have breakfast in a little while, hash browns and sausage gravy, and turkey at the neighbor's later. This evening, we'll be having drinks with other friends. No snow, no ice, no problems. Lots to be thankful for. > It's no wonder the US was settled more heavily than this frigid > wasteland. Only a total frickin' idjit would have turned north in the > good ole days. Everybody knows that the fountain of youth is on South Bimini. Lee |
