You mean "Trump" is not the name of a hurricane of cat 4 or 5? <snicker> ------------------------------ Can you or someone else please explain to me why The Donald is so idolized as a real estate genius when he had to declare that he was bankrupt a few years ago ?? Also, I think that Paris Hilton is actually Trump's daughter. They look too much alike. |

Everyone saw it. And OTOH, I can show you pics of me being at the WTC years ago for a regular tourist visit and for a wedding. They were basically 'around the corner' from my home. NY is close to me, unlike you. I knew ppl who worked there. And the plane that crashed into the ground that day crashed in my home state. So what exactly is it that you're trying to say to link the events of 9-11 to hurricanes ?? We were talking about hurricanes. Not about terrorism. You seem so 'glued' to the terrorism thing even though it all occured here on this coast... clear across the country from you. And ya know what, if it occurs again... it'll be here too. |

Because you seem the think the only and worst tragedy to hit America is a couple hurricanes. Let the ragheads get their hands on a nuke or two, and Katrina will look like a gift from God. The magnitude of the two issues is wholly disproportionate, but you fail to see the real danger your nation is faced with. I wasnt on the East coast when 9/11 happened, I was only in Florida, working at Brownies/Halcyon. And how you figure that not being on the east coast, or from New York or Pennsylvania, diminishes the impact of the 9/11 attacks on my life is a fucking mystery. As Tom Waits sung; "Come down off the cross, we could use the wood." |

I am continually amazed that there are still people who think we invaded Iraq because of 9-11. We invaded Iraq because of Saddam's 17+ violations of a UN-signed cease fire. He shot down a few too many planes. We did not like that. > > The reason we invaded Iraq is also to deflect the American public's > attention away from the fact that Bush and Cheney have powerful rich > friends from Iran who have combined their investments from oil and > defense contracts. Odd as you might find it, a good many of those "kids" are there because they know what they are doing is right. <snip> > Our oil prices went thru the roof this year and its > not because of hurricanes, etc. That's an excuse. Then why exactly DID oil prices rise if it is not an accident? * |

Nor did I vote for his "daddy". Good for you. What bugs me are those who complain about him incessantly, yet voted for the idiot. It's nice to be on the side that can say "we told you so" whenever the latest scandal of dishonesty and corruption surfaces. |
