| I'm thinking about taking a long trip down to Santa Marta, a small city in northeastern Columbia. One of the things I'd be going down there for would be to work at a diveshop, but before I commit I wanted to see if I could get any advice from you all... Basically, although I'm excited about the prospect of going someplace different and improving my Spanish, I wouldn't be going if it weren't for the diving. So I was wondering, can anyone give me some first hand comparisons between diving around Santa Marta, and some of the other places I've been, so I can get an impression of whether this is going to a worthwhile trip, diving-wise? Anything you like to compare on, viz, big and small fishes, current, depth... any info you can give would be great, comparing to the following places that I've got experience with: - Thailand (Koh Phi Phi, Koh Tao, Similans) - Marshall Islands (Majuro, Arno) - Bonaire - St. Thomas Thanks for your help! c |
