I think the jury is still out...

But it really makes you wonder what's in their minds,..
when you hear they sawed of the legs of the over tall grown ethnics to
make them smaller. (Kongo crisis 1961)

So,

That's allowed unless the U.S. is involved, right?

Are the museums okay?

Was only responding to the comments suggesting that France was
thumbing its nose at the UN and the US.

But in these circumstances (i.e. with thousand of French nationals on
the ground directly threatened and/or molested, and a deliberate
attack on our troops) I do no think that we, or any other country for
that matter, would have waited for international approval before
acting (with restraint, so far).

50 reasons only? When do they publish the next volumes?

Why the fuck do you think we give a fuck whether you give a fuck about
what we think?

The French didn't invade Ivory Coast, they were there with an UN
mandate. Did the US have such a mandate?

Consider the "classical" European names for the two groups. The
Bantus and the Watusi. Let's just say 1000 years is a long time to
hold a grudge.

Yes, I have to admit, the French showed restraint in only blowing up a
couple of planes. And, not waiting to take a "poll" and see if rest of
the "world" thinks they should attack or try to appease.

We called the local subgroups Hutu and Tutsi. You named the "bigger" group.
