Default Compressor operation?

My new ALKIN W31 scuba compressor just arrived without any operation
instructions. There is an owners manual that discusses trouble
shooting and maintenance, but that's it. The compressor has manual
drains. There are 2 drains on the condensate separator assembly, 1 on
the bottom and 1 about half way up the assemby. There is a third
drain on the bottom of the air purifier assembly.

Would greatly appreciate any advice on the proper operating procedure
for this compressor.

Thanks Mike Howard

I'd go back to the dealer and ask for the operating instructions if it is
new as in never used rather than just new to you.

The number one piece of advice I can give on that machine is NOT to use
it as a constant run machine. While Alkin SAYS it can, it has proven
itself problematic for anyone but the extremely anal about care. They
have been having failures at about 250-350 hours. It is so problematic
that Alkin has replace it with another small compressor in their line.

Change the oil religiously at 25-30 hours; blowdown every five minutes
for a couple of seconds; keep it CLEAN and oil free on the outside;
place it where it will get LOTS of cooling air during operation.

Just my $.02
