| The Great Lakes Shipwreck Preservation Society (GLSPS) is holding their annual shipwreck and scuba show on Saturday February 28th from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm at the AmericInn Hotel and Mermaid Entertainment & Event Center, 2200 County Road 10, Mounds View, Minnesota. Spend a day exploring shipwrecks and maritime history, take a chance on winning one of the numerous raffle prizes and help support the GLSPS shipwreck preservation projects. It's THE event of the season and a great place to talk to a broad spectrum of the regional dive community. Hope to see you there. We'll have a variety of guns on display and there will be a drawing for at least one free spearfishing class. Discover SCUBA and Discover Rebreathers are happening in the hotel pool so come prepared if you'd like to try a rebreather. Speakers begin at 10:00 am and finish at 4:30 pm, directly followed by the raffle drawing and the announcement of the silent auction winners. There is something for everyone in the entire family at Dive Into the Past - The Twin Cities Shipwreck and SCUBA show. More information and tickets are available at www.glsps.com. |

Once I did, other things interested me more. > Thanks, this is the major fund raiser for the year so whatever happens > this weekend will determine the projects that get funded for the rest of > the year. Sounds like a fun event. Hope it's not spoiled by the terrible state of the economy. |
