Default Aladin AIR Z: how does a (simulated) freeflow affect computer

Hi Everyone

I'm contemplating to buy an Aladin Air Z Nitrox. I'm using a drysuit and a
nice big BCD and do practice freeflows. On one of the many websites I read
that air-integrated computers or upset by surges in the air demand and
penalise the diver.
Is there anyone who has any experience or advice /opinion (preferable:
qualified) on this?

Thank you very much and safe diving,

Franklyn

I have never free flowed on a real dive, but I have donated air on more than
enough occasions for extended periods of time and never noticed a difference
in deco.
Ok once on an ice dive in -35 F weather in a snow storm, when all the
highways where closed.
What can I say, long winter we were board.
I'm not a big fan of ice diving.

I wear two computers and they generally always agree, give or take a minute
or two.
The longest donation I ever have done has been just over an hour.
I dive Aldin pro, Aldin air x and Eon Suunto.
They all read about the same.
The Aldins are all newer versions and where in use on the 1 hour donation.
The profile was in the 180 ft range with total time in about 2 hrs or so.
One diver on the team had a manifold failure.
I was running twin OMS 125's pumped up plus al 80 with deco gas (just happen
to have it so I used it normally I carry a al 30 cu ft) so I had air to
spare and still surfaced with air.
He went on my gas on the bottom because we were in the shipping channel
(Brockville Narrows), we had to travel down stream 5 knot current about 5
minutes to eddy out behind an island then work our way up the island.
Other than the manifold problem just another Wednesday night dive.
Well ok I did find any bottles on that dive.
