| I'm going to buy a new reg. What do you think is the best buy? Xstream or MK25? My first impressions go to the Xstream... But the MK25 is also a possible choice... What would you do? |

I'd get both and return the one didn't work out, or keep it for a spare. -- jer email reply - I am not a 'ten' ICQ = 35253273 "All that we do is touched with ocean, yet we remain on the shore of what we know." -- Richard Wilbur |

And the scubapro's have excellent hose routing because of the bottom turret port. | Make sure the Poseidon (if that's the on you buy) is a new model with high and low pressure ports on both sides of the first stage. I was told that Poseidon designed it for the Euro tech market and they were surprised when it didn't sell well in the US. They redesigned it with ports on both sides, but they are pressuring distributors to sell the old stock before they ship the new ones. This is second hand information, but I trust the source. | Go for the Xstream !!! Superb breather, less complicated, State of the art "no fuss" 1st stage. Love mine !!! You can still get parts even for the early Scubapros. The Poseidons are a little more difficult if you're away from home, but not so much so. |
