| You could be right. It was a cut/paste from another site. The relevant number I was referring to was 708/711, which was the weight per cubic foot of lead. If you want to get very technical please give a volume and location as weight varies with both. |

Lead is 0.411 lb(m) per cubic inch, but since Frank specified a surface and not a volume, any density times zero thickness yields zero mass. BTW, this happens to mean that the weight of of a square inch of lead is the same as a square inch of feathers. -hh |
