| Anybody have an idea where one can get the type of submersible electronics that can be used to build an electronic depth gauge ? Dive computers must have them - anybody had a look inside ? Rgds Monty |

Do a search on google for "pressure transducers". Then narrow it down. You probably want piezoelectric, absolute pressure (have a sealed vacuum for reference), and capable of at least 715K pascal(233 fsw). In addition it will need temperature compensation - not a problem since most of the ones that fit the bill already are and also permit interrogation of the temp sensor...and of course, water proof.
