Yea, but it'll cost you a racing shirt :)

Rodale's Scuba Diving magazine (accessible on-line at Scubadiving.com) has
regular articles on women's gear, most recently a review of BCs

However, your best source of information is your local dive shop (LDS), the same
folks who instructed you and helped you certify. They'll already know you and
they'll be familiar with the local dive environment.

unfortunately, neither are a reliable source of good information. The
dive shop will sell you whatever brands they stock and Rodale's, shit,
they'll try to sell you a spare air.

Here, in spite of all the bullshit posts your question generated, tends
to give better information that won't cost you a thousand $ to evaluate.

Until she's ready to drop down onto a 20 foot reef and realize she's bought
$2,000 worth of gear meant for someone doing XR diving. :)

Jacque, do you trust Rodale's bike magazine? Then I think you can trust their
dive magazine.

Plates are cheap. Cheaper than all of the BI women's models out there.

I hope she doesn't trust either as anything more than a positive review
source.

In your world, that's fine. In the real world, you'd be desperate to be me.

It's always good to have laughter in my life. Thanks.

So if I'm factboy, what does that make you? Doughboy?

I wouldn't know.

And given the dissonant sarcasm inherent in your moniker, "Doughboy" for me
would be fine ;)
