Default Is UDS-1 dive system still used by anyone?

Is the old U.S. Divers UDS-1 Dive System from the 1970's still being
used by anyone? I just found one and wonder if it is trash or
treasure. I understand you can not get them tested because of odd
sized fittings. A picture of one is at:

Other than using it as a museum piece, no.

Trash or treasure depends on the price.
It could be considered to be a collector's item, but there's no
extraordinarily high value attached to it.

It's a cool curiosity to hang on the shop wall.

Definitely not trash, but if you want to get the tanks
hydroed, you are gonna spend some bucks!! I had a guy bring
a set to me one time and my hydro guy had to have a special
spud made up. Since he had never seen this size before, it
was my customer's responsibility to pay for the spud. The
customer got the three tanks back all tested along with a
spud in a bag for next time.

On top of three hydros and a new spud, the manifold is also
a first stage regulator so it needs to be overhauled as
well. Remember what I said about big bucks??

He still dives with it occasionally!

Just my $.02

Generally not. At only 105 ft^3, it can be functionally replaced today
with a large single, which gives you an idea of its pragmatic utility.

But there are historic dive gear societies who like such stuff.
