$725

Wow, this regulator is so new it isn't even listed on Scubapro's website. I
wonder why that is...

A new Mk25/G250HP (which is actually a better reg) can be be purchased
from LeisurePro for only $320. Or you can get a new Mk25/X650 for $410
(only $35 more for the current equivalent reg).

Nothing new about mixing and matching S'pro 1sts and 2nds. Just because
it ain't listed in the catalogue doesn't mean it can't be done.

I wasn't commenting on the mix of first and seconds, I was commenting on the
fact that the D400 second wasn't listed in their (on-line) catalog at all
(at least, not that I could find). As a matter of fact, I don't see any
regulators with a D-designation. I see some S's, an X, a G, and two R's
though.

It was a 90s model at the same time the G250 was most popular. It actually
was the top model (per price) until the 500 series came along.

Maybe but he needs to use more question marks. Like at the end of every
post that has anything to do with scuba.

I see, so what you're saying is that this isn't the top of the line model
and, I am assuming, it probably isn't worth the $725 the OP claims his
dealer wants and might not be worth the $395 (firm) that he is asking.
