Default Mares V16 + Proton

Hi,

does anybody have a comment or two about the Mares V16 + Proton combo.

I found reasonably good reviews of the V16 first stage. The Axis second
stage was good, but the mouth piece was too small I heard, though I think it
will do fine as alternate. Does anyone have feedback regarding the new
Proton and Proton Ice second stages?

I also heard that Mares are withdrawing the V32 from the market again. Does
anyone know why?

Cheers,

Marcus

I have the V-16/Proton. The V-16 is very good the Proton is just ok. I used
my old Oceanic alpha 4 as my oct and find it breathes much smoother than the
Proton. Thinking of switching 2nd stages around. The proton has a soft hose
that I like.
