Default Anyone has the Sealife Digital 310?

New digital underwater camera just released.

Anyone has anything good or bad to say about it?

Very Expensive...................$499 is steep..................

Looks nice's....but are the pictures worth that price?

Default Re: Anyone has the Sealife Digital 310?

I am also thinking of buying a Sealife digital camera, but I'm also
looking at "waterproof" systems by Pentax (430 RS with O-WP1 case), Canon
(Powershot ELPH with the WP-DC800 case), Minolta (DIMAGE X1 with MC-DG100
case), Nikon (Fantasea CP-4 PRO housing for a Coolpix 4300), Sony DSC-U60
Cybershot, as well as the Olympus Stylus 300 digital and PT-016 case.
Then there are all the Ikelite cases to consider. I would like the
system to be able to go to 150 ft. (50 m) or so.

I do not need to spend $1000 for a casing with access to ALL the camera
controls, just the shutter. I would like the ability to mount a strobe or
video light well away from the lense to avoid flashback glare. It would
be fun to shoot short bursts of video. I would like the camera to be
extra good in low ambient light situations. And most importantly, I would
like the delay from when I push the damn trigger button to when the
picture is taken to be as short as possible. I plan to make a table
summarizing these results for each of the cameras I've listed.

Have you made a decision yet? I wish I could.

Best regards,

- Skip
