Default Nitek3 and d/ler for Macintosh?

I have both a Dive Rite Nitek and a Nitek3 and recently purchased the
downloader. I am attempting to run Nitek Logic using VirtualPC but I
can't seem to get a connection going. I'm on a Mac G4/400 and have
jury-rigged a DB9-USB adapter for the connection ....but it still
doesn't work. Suggestions????

Thank you in advance.

Make sure the serial-USB adapter is working properly first. I suggest
you try something like hot-syncing a palm or something similar with a
native Mac appliction. From there, move to the same application in the
PC world, using VPC. This will help you sort out any USB issues with
VPC. If all these work, but the Nitec Logic software doesn't, I can't
help you, but it's likely you'd get better support from Nitek if you've
already done these troubleshooting steps that eliminate all non-Nitek
sources of error.
