Lets see, of all the local LDS's in my area (about 50) 5 are worth a shit, the rest are vampires looking for blood to suck. They are staffed by morons with patch covered jackets proclaiming their expertise, and selling mostly useless garbage at best, dangerous garbage at worst. Get rid of all the shit shops, the mandatory mark-up schemes, parasites and thieves, and you could have competitive pricing. In fact, I know of one shop that the "technician" is stoned or drunk 24/7, he stinks like dog shit when he opens his mouth to speak, and is as filthy as any human you would ever care to encounter. And, because he cares so much about his customers, rather than use the proper lubricant when assembling regs (about 50% of which he fucks up), he just puts a little spit on the o-rings for you. Now, explain to me why *anyone* should be forced, in any way, to do any business with this creep? |

Better to go for a cluttered BC which doesn't even work for you as is & needs ridiculous modifications. And then if you do even loose weight will stop working for you & you'll need a new one. Or you could buy a simple backplate & wing setup that will easily accommodate any size of diver, but people might call you names. And if you are -not muscular- will give you way better trim. I think the thing that stings is the calibre of person throwing names like "DIR twat" around. Obviously it hurts when a person of renown, someone with a name you recognise calls you names. It hurts when its someone you look up to. |
