Default sherwood wisdom

I saw a message from last summer with Jim Wyatt's initial impression of this
dive puter which seemed pretty favorable.
I am thinking of upgrading to this puter and would like any impressions,
good or bad, that anyone would care to offer.
TIA,

Our customers who have 'em really like 'em. There are a couple of things,
though...

1. If you go with the air integrated one, replace your battery when it tells
you to. Not knowing how much air you have is a bad thing.

2. The plastic shields for the Wisdom are pretty useless (and often hard to
get replacements for). It's much better to use packing tape to protect the
display and replace it every few dives.

Really? Packing tape?
Doesn't that leave a sticky residue everywhere?

The Wisdom was reviewed in Rodale Jan/ Feb 2003. It's a liberal computer as the Oceanics
and Aeris'.
