Default Re: HP valves with levers wanted.

I'm not a diver......But.
I'm a design engineer and deal with pnematics on a daily basis.

What you are talking about, I think, are called ball valves.
These are simple on/off things - just turn the handle 90 degrees from one to
the other

Another reply, quite rightly, mentioned that valves are different for fluids
and gases.
Its down to lubrication and the type/material of seals and seats inside
them - I won't bore you with the details!!!

You'll need to know what pressure you are using (that's a matter of course,
I presume?)
And you'll need to know what size of thread you want on them - BSP at a
guess.

So you could do a Google search on "pneumatic" and "ball valve" which should
get you going.

Have a look at : www.norgren.com for a start - amd No! I don't work
for them!

There are a few other companies around that make/supply that sort of stuff :
Festo, Econosto (I think), DeeVee, Schraeder et.al.
You could try searching for those.

As an aside :
Its probably worth searching out the local supplier tell them what you want
to use the valves for
and asking for a price on it - it might work out cheaper.
AND : Its probably where your local dive shop buys them from anyway!!!
(Cut out the middle-man!)
