As someone who is not shy about ordering stuff online, I also have to say
this is something where you just have to go to your local well-stocked dive
store and try on lots of masks, with the gentle "sniff test," then buy the
mask you like from that local shop. Both mine and my sweetheart's masks
came from the LDS. Tell them you want a mask you can later use for diving,
so they only show you dive-quality masks.

The reason it's really hard to give a recommendation of a "good mask" is
that fit is the most crucial thing about a mask, and they vary. I could
tell you I'm personally very happy with my Dacor Ultra II, but that's
because it fits my face so well. I do generally like masks with floppier
skirts. They may tear more easily, but skirts are easy to replace and
typically give a better seal.
