Luxfer is the preferred stage/deco.
I haven't compared both brands in the water, but the Catalinas are
reported to tend to lay tail-down, while the Luxfers will lay
tail-high and out of the slipstream.

I have a Luxfer 40 and a couple of Cat 80s, but I've never rigged the
80s as stages.
