I think the cost of a housing > cost of the camera is fairly standard. :)
My $300 Minolta gets housed in an Ikelite housing that with the flash cost
over $1200. I was looking for a housing for my video camera and it would
cost me $1000 for one.

Have you checked out www.ikelite.com? They have so many housings and if
they don't have one they can make one for you.

over $1200. I was looking for a housing for my video camera and it would
cost me $1000 for one.

Have you checked out www.ikelite.com? They have so many housings and if
they don't have one they can make one for you.

probably the same housing.
