Default Body Glove Snorkel repairs?

Hi,
I am in the UK and have a snorkel which has a broken top piece (that
restricts water entry) and I emailed Body Glove about this seeking to obtain
a part but have had no reply.
Anyone had experience of their customer service, contacts?? tia.
Stuart.

The cost of handling a part for a snorkel would be more than the whole
snorkel is worth. No one carries repair parts for snorkels. You will just
have to buy a new one.

Hi Dale,
Thanks for that, seems like I anticipated but I thought that maybe Bodyglove
could have at least said that much too.
Any recommendations for a replacement?
Stuart.

Stuart,
I seldom carry a snorkel. About the only time I do is when I am teaching
recreational level courses - then I stick one in my pocket. Carrying a
snorkel on your mask invites entanglement problems and creates resistance
through the water. I have been using one of the Sherwood folding snorkels
because it does not take up much space. The Sherwood does have its
disadvantages, though - it is easily broken and hard to clear completely.
The best snorkels, if you can find them, are the old rubber ones with no
bells and whistles. They are smooth, easy to breath through, easy to clear
and can be folded up and stowed when not in use.

Good diving,
Dale
