Who said that? I said: Anyone here used this BP/wing or care to comment? I've seen the ongoing war over using a BP verses a more traditional BCD, not terribly interested in getting into that. :) I was pretty convinced I wanted a backplate before finding rec.scuba and rec.scuba.equipment. If anyone has any info on this one I'd like to hear it tho. Maybe I wasn't direct enough. :) I'll be getting a backplate of some kind. Anyone have opinions (and maybe reasons for those opinions) on THIS one? :) -Andrew |

Sorry bout that. Anyway, why bother? If you ever get a set of doubles you'll end up with a normal one anyway. And there's no way a perfectly flat one resting on your spine can be as comfortable as one that sits flat on your blades and muscle. |

| I've been pondering the "Jet Harness" single tank backplate/harness/wing. I'm a "fairly new" scuba diver. Just recently got my PADI Rescue Diver cert and thus far have not been impressed by any of the rental BCDs I have used. Anyone here used this BP/wing or care to comment? I've seen the ongoing war over using a BP verses a more traditional BCD, not terribly interested in getting into that. :) I was pretty convinced I wanted a backplate before finding rec.scuba and rec.scuba.equipment. If anyone has any info on this one I'd like to hear it tho. I guess they only sell through ebay. The one I'm looking at is auction 3677213604 running currently. -Andrew |
