| Unless you live in some non consumeristic universe, yes, it is your money. The media is about advertising, advertising is about selling products. Media outlets pay for and develope programing so they can sell advertising during those programs. The cost of the progam development effects the cost of the advetising. The cost of the advertising is passed on to...YOU, the consumer. In a capitolist economy, the consumer pays for everything. | hey shark freaks - Some of you may have seen these new Shark Week commercials - but you probably didn't since Discovery big wigs axed them soon after they aired. I was able to tap into the corporate site -- check out the link below see them -- they are hilarious.
