Even 10 minutes of hanging in the blue with nothing except plankton and your buddy to look at is pretty boring. And not being able to hear the tankers going past in the shipping lanes of the English Channel would be nice, though when they get really close, you can feel them. | Has anyone tried these new mp3 players? I read a brief blurb about em in a local diving paper, and they're sposed to be based on the Iriver device, with packaging that makes em good to a couple hundred meters. Be intrested in noing if they sound ok. CUL8R R*Horse www.sonic.net/~lkokot "Take a look behind you - upstream - now you begin to recognize this country, don't you?" "Yes, I do recognize it now. Mind you, I've not tried one, I might some day just to grind off the novelty - but there's plenty of time for the cool factor back on the surface - preferably in a hammock with an incredibly good cigar accompanied by an adult beverage and a particularly fetching sunset. -- jer email reply - I am not a 'ten' "All that we do is touched with ocean, yet we remain on the shore of what we know." -- Richard Wilbur |
