| Aquasure or stormsure usually plugs it if its small or a bicycle tube repair patch if its larger. You MUST properly clean the area with detergent, water and then alcohol (meths etc would do). If using Aquasure ten the accelerator solution is also a god buy as it also helps prepare the surface for adhesion. If possible, apply Aquaseal in a 1" circular area around the hole on the inside of the bladder. Then do the same on the outside. I find two very thin coats, the second slightly larger than the first, makes for a very durable seal. |

The other type of adhesive that is good is the two part used for bonding dry-suits together. Used correctly as per the manufacturer it will last years.I think that the Dunlop made adhesive is quite popular and easy to obtain. |

| i had two dollar coin sized holes in my bc and fixed them both with a pool liner repair kit i just cut a hole big enough for my finger to get in, with the patch much larger than the hole, pushed the patch into the hole reversed sticky side to rubber, let it dry, then glued material over the outside to cover the liner rubber still works fine after about 50 dives and doesn't look like leaking at all -- ®´¯`·*kÂz*·´¯`® at www.kazdivephotos.com "jet one" <jetconsulting@comcast.net> wrote in message news:rbWdnfEVFM11S6_cRVn-hA@comcast.com... > I have a pinhole leak in my BCD, any suggestions on repairing it? I'm guessing Aussie coins (vs US $) but that's still a big hole. How'd you get them? Robbing banks and getting shot at (w/ your BC)? Dogs? Falling tanks? just wonderin'... -lance smith |

| LOL inside the bcd there was a connection (inside the bladder). i think to prevent the bcd from blowing up too big, anyway, in time the thing started to leak and eventually blew out and ripped the bcd open at the joint where the connection or bladder was glued together. lucky for me it blew open when i inflated it at the diveshop. it was a cheap brand called BOSS that'll teach me _______________________________ update your logbook software at www.kazdivephotos.com _______________________________ "lance smith" <outside@ziggyworks.com> wrote in message news:36f85e46.0408310931.6a77c1d1@posting.google.c om... > "®´¯`·*kÂz*·´¯`®" <.kaz.@sassy.love.com> wrote in message news:<cgv402$t28$1@austar-news.austar.net.au>... > > i had two dollar coin sized holes in my bc > > and fixed them both with a pool liner repair kit > > i just cut a hole big enough for my finger to get in, > > with the patch much larger than the hole, > > pushed the patch into the hole reversed sticky side to rubber, > > let it dry, then glued material over the outside to cover the liner rubber > > still works fine after about 50 dives and doesn't look like leaking at all > > Two dollar coin size holes?
