Turn on your dive computer. Sometimes changes are made in the
manufacture and the manual usually represents what you have, not a website.

Turn on your computer and see.

The clock does "nothing". Look at the numbers. Know what they mean. I
have an Atmos Pro. It goes with me on my long deco dives. It lets me
know how much deco time, the stops and the total ascent time. Real nice
little computer. The "clock" under the water is time underwater. The
"clock" above water, is just that. Don't get your speedo all twisted up.
Know the numbers and what they mean.

So, does your Aeris computer ever have the clock above water? When I
read the manual, then see pictures of something of that item on the net or
in magazine adds and see something that is not covered in the manual, it
drives me crazy.

Surely, if the clock can be under the wavy line or above the wavy line
it must represent two different things.

With the big numbers (dive profile line and waves) the clock is on top
of the water. At the bottom of the computer, the clock is under the
water. Again, read the manual, take it for a dive and look at it. Know
what the numbers mean. When I go diving this weekend, I will see if the
clock position changes.

Yes, underwater, and surface. You are fixated on the clock instead of
knowing how to read the computer.

Default Aeris Atmos 1

A question about the Aeris Atmos 1 -- in the manual for this dive
computer it shows an icon that's to the right of the No Decomprssonion Time
Limit (dive time remaining). This icon is a little clock that sits UNDER a
little wavy line that's suppose to represent water. The wavy water line and
clock icon are above the little dive profile icon ( a line goes down, over,
then up, over, then up again). That's how it looks in the manual.

Now what confuses me is when I go to an online site that sales this
computer and I look at a picture of the front of this computer while
displaying information, that little clock icon is above the little wavy line
that's supposed to represent water.

You can see a pic here -
http://www.diveaeris.com/Images/p_co...s1_module1.jpg

As you can see, the clock icon is above the little wavy line. But in
the complete manual they only show that clock icon being under the wavy
line. The manual doesn't mention anything about the clock being above the
wavy line. Now, I'm only talking about the upper display, not the lower one
that does display a little clock icon above a wavy line representing Surface
Interval Time.

So, why is the clock above the wavy water line in the picture? Is it a
simple mistake in the picture? Or is the manual wrong?

I guess my real questing is this: When this computer is taken on an
actual dive, and right next to the No Decomprssonion Time Limit, where is
this clock icon located at? Above or below the little wavy water line?

Thanks
