Canon does have a housing for it, I just bought one for my wife. It is
the WP-DC30. After seaching the web for the best price, expect to pay
around $160 including shipping.

Here are the four best deals I found from retailers that are at least
somewhat trustworthy:

$159 -
http://www.techonweb.com/shop/produc...id=495754&src=
FG

$160 - http://www.securemart.com/cgi-bin/fu...3.html?pcode=4

$161 -
http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/produ...2hvd19wcm9kdWN
0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=148396&_LOC=US

$167 - http://www.etronics.com (search for wpdc30)

I bought mine from Techonweb with no problem. I have also shopped
etronics in the past with no problems.

Have you had a chance to try it? Does it give access to all the functions?

We haven't had it in the water yet but it does give access to all
functions and seems well built.

I got my wife this so she will leave my Nikonos and F5 housings alone.
My homework showed the Canon to be a good deal in most regards. The only
thing it is lacking is an easy way to add an external flash.

I have the A75 with the housing. It rocks and gives you complete access
to all buttons and functions.

Looks like the camera with the housing will serve its purpose well enough.
Its not a Nikon D70 or a Olympus 5060, but then its not nearly as expen$ive
either.

Can you post an underwater photo straight from the camera? I am interested
in what settings the underwater mode puts the camera in. I have an A80.
Excellent camera.

I've only taken it on a few dives, and they've all been very murky green
fresh water, max vis 15'-20' or so.
