Lots of people do it. It's a trade off between money and time. If you've got enough money you can fill tanks fairly rapidly. If you don't mind waiting you can get smaller compressors and wait between dives. |

I've recently upgraded from a 3.5CFM (100 Litres/min) to a 5 CFM, which is MUCH quieter but required me to have an additional 32a circuit installed to power the 5Hp single phase motor. My old 3.5 CFM worked off of a smaller electric motor or a 5.5Hp Honda petrol engine and was portable. |
