I think it should be ok to advertise on here if you are not in business but
rather an individual with some equipment to sell

Why? This is rec.scuba.locations. Do you want trip reports posted on
rec.scuba.equipment?

Scuba Equipment - probably, but not in Scuba Locations. Scuba Locations is
for travel info, not equipement info.

WARNING, this offer is a fraud. I ordered one item, did not receive it and
since the money was transferred it was impossible to get in touch with the
buyer. However, a friend of mine asked for the same item and it was
apparently still for sale.... The offer was also on ebay, now the same
seller has a similarly designed offer with audio equipment, just check for
scubashop2102
