I use it as my pressure guage, dive log, and backup.

I find the Aladdin is easier to read and I like the percentage assent
rate

I have also and it goes in my carry on. Reg in checkin, on the basis
that I can replace a reg but not the computer memory and I have too much
carry on already with two dive computers flash guns Still and video
cameras, etc.

Just brought the D9, but haven't been able to dive with it yet. I like the fact
that it also has a build in compass. Build in USB interface directly into the
watch is another really great feature that I haven't seen from anyone else.
