Most people will get a better fit, even if off-the-rack sizes are an O.K. fit for them. Some people can _only_ get an acceptable fit this way. Everybody gets to choose colors, thickness and a variety of features. The extrac cost for custom vs. stock is not that much. I have had good luck at Wetwear -- www.wetwear.com -- but full disclosure requires me to point out that I am close enough to vist their store in person. They do mail order and I suspect they do it reasonably well. -- Charlie Hammond -- Hewlett-Packard Company -- Ft Lauderdale FL USA (hammond@not@peek.ssr.hp.com -- remove "@not" when replying) All opinions expressed are my own and not necessarily my employer's. |

| Check out the Akona brand suits. I have 1 mm and 3 mm suits that I love. I am 6'6" (male) and the suit fits great length wise. Hopefully, she can get an adequate fit without going the custom route and expense. Good luck. Thanks for the suggestion, but too thick and pricy. -- Geoff |

| Thanks for the suggestion. There's a dealer nearby, but looking at the sizing charts it looks like the same problem that she always has. In order to get a suit that fits her height she has to go to a larger size and then it's loose on her. I just wish that companies made long/tall wetsuits for women. They make them for men, but we haven't found them for women. -- Geoff "Flea Dog" <JRE100NOSPAM@Hotmail.com> wrote in news:WkhYe.1684$am.1439@news01.roc.ny: > Check out the Akona brand suits. | My fiance is 5'10" and has been looking for a women's 0.5 or 1 mm wet suit and can't find one that fits well.
