I bought a couple at one of the local shops here in San Diego, and I've
seen them at others. As I recall, they were in the $10~$15 range.

These are interesting and I believe they carry them at leisurepro.com but I prefer
weight pouches for travel as they take standard weights that are available
everywhere.

Thanks for all of the references and ideas everyone. I appreciate it. I
think I may have tracked down some trim pockets at a local dive shop here in
NH but haven't gotten to them yet. Once again, thanks.

Got it! DiveRite makes "slate pockets" which hook onto any standard webbing
with a loop in the back. I've slid two of these onto my tank band (one on
each side of the tank of course) and have put 4 pounds into each of them.
They close with a velcro flap and look like they'll do the job nicely.
