TIA Check with one of the shops that claims they service them along with your other equipment. I imagine you could use whatever you'd use for the outside, but it wouldn't hurt to check to ensure you don't damage whatever material is on the inside. My best guess, Simple Green. Lee |

I'm assuming that use of an antibacterial soap is not the way to go as it might degrade any glueing? |

I doubt the antibacterial would cause harm, but I'm pretty sure that saltwater would kill the bugs. I'm not suggesting you flush it with ocean water, just heavily salted tap water. |

It's probably an overabundance of caution on my part, but since I damn near died after my last trip, I want to ensure that there's no residual effect. |

If it did, then there would never be any bugs in any ocean divers BC's. ;^) >I'm not suggesting you flush it with > ocean water, just heavily salted tap water. OK. :^) |

But if you rinse out the salt and leave the goop, then stuff might grow. >>I'm not suggesting you flush it with >>ocean water, just heavily salted tap water. > > > OK. :^) People eat pork that is solely cured with salt. Hard for a bacterium to live when it gets all the water sucked out of it by osmosis. I wouldn't breathe the bacterial soap, myself. |
