I have three Oceanic computers and have never had a problem with any of
them. For those that don't mind the additional cost, opt for one of the
models with more than one button. The one button model makes you wait for
some settings and has more limited settings available than the two button
models.

I own one. So does my wife. They're fine.

This is the link I have for the Oceanic version;

http://www.oceanicworldwide.com/p_computers_iddm.html

It has said "Pending" for a few years now. My guess is there are problems
with it (duh).

I emailed the company to get a status update just for fun. I'll post on here
if they reply.

Here is the answer I got from Oceanic;

Our engineers are working on the HUD project, we are expecting to release
this product by the summer of 2006.
We anticipate that cost will be between 1200-1500

Thank you for choosing Oceanic.

Default Oceanic Mask with Head Up Display-computer

Just seen the new (announced june 2003!) oceanic mask with built in
dive-computer and a head-up-display. Is it already anywhere available in the
world, except for military use? I'd really like to have one with sender.
Anyone who can get his or her hands on one, contact me!

For the rest of the world: How are oceanic computers? Never had anything
else than UWATEC. Any first hand experiences, both good and bad?
