On a recent trip to the Caribbean I had my DIN-reg with me, and needed to borrow a yoke adapter to fit it on their tanks. I was quite lucky the adapter was rated to 290bar because one of the tanks (alu) was at 270bar. It was the only time when I have actually seen anything metal "stretch" visibly. /m |

My product liability guy made me put all kinds of silly warning signs all over the compressors before I shipped them out. One is on the yoke saying "Rated for 3000 PSI. Higher pressure may result in injury or death". Plus there are about a dozen warning pages scattered about the user manual. What is amazing is that these are sold in Europe every day with only one warning sign ... "add oil before starting". -- Ray Contreras =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Webmonkey for: http://www.ossystems.com http://www.bobs-garage.com http://www.clanwolverine.org http://www.rayzplace.com |
