Design appeal, color (white= hi-viz instead of black) for a start and ...

I know the power of jetfins, I have them ... the revo's look to me however
more hydrodynamically correct shaped and the blade looks more rigid than
those of the jetfins ... This is something I have to confirm once I have
them to kick with underwater

I've had exactly the same experience, emails without replies, when
attempting to order Japanese diving equipment. In my case, I've been
after a pair of Gull Mew or Warp fins, as illustrated at

http://www.gull-msc.co.jp/fin.html

I'm impressed with the classic design of Gull's rubber full foot fins
and the range of colours available. I learned to dive in the 1960s when
full foot fins of this type represented the norm and plastic fins were
for those who couldn't afford rubber fins. I still snorkel with such
fins because I don't see any reason why I should change to something
more gimmicky and expensive just because it happens to be the latest
fashion. British underwater swimming equipment makers no longer allow
me to exercise this option. Although at least one Japanese dive gear
manufacturer shares my taste in gear, it's a pity that they don't have
distributors in Europe or deign to respond to messages from western
countries. Subscribers to other diving forums have reported similar
non-communication. I'm sure it can't be all put down to lack of English
skills. I suspect it's because it's too much bother to accept and
deliver small orders from abroad.
