If you're nearsighted, you're in luck. Several mask manufacturers have drop
in lenses in various strengths. One, and one of my favorites, is Tusa.
They make a reasonably priced Liberator mask that will take the drop in
lenses.

If you're farsighted enough to have a problem, you're probably SOL. Last
time I checked, nobody made a drop in lens for the farsighted. Apparently,
there's no enough of a market to support them.

Good idea, though. I really like my prescription mask. It helps me when I
am walking into the water, walking on the boat to get in the water, seeing
things when I am on the surface. Highly recommend it.

Check your prescription. If you have any numbers in the cylinder column,
then you will need a custom lens in the mask. My daughter and I love our
prescription masks. They were made by the folks at
www.prescriptiondivemasks.com. They do an excellent job. Don't know how
much they charge these days, but it's probably on their web site.

Cheers,

Also check out: http://www.rxdivemask.com/ - I'm very happy with
mine. Especially good if you have an astigmatism, or need reading
classes (to read your guages and dive computer close up).
