| Intersting note. After canceling the first install my attempt to reinstall came up with no ports to pick. Oh well, it's working on the wife's laptop so I can get all the dives downloaded. | Anyone else have problems with getting the IrDA to work with XP Home? When I install I get the option of COM3 or 4, not 1 or 2. |

| Don't you see an "Auto" option? I can't get DataTalk to work at all but have no problems with DataTrak. | Auto option in the SmartTrak software on when installing the IrDA? It's the old "I'm taking PC advice from a Scuba Company" trick. No doubt you are using Uwatecs IrDA installation guide? Screw that, it's useless. It has nothing to do with their software, and everything to do with their original intent of selling IrDA devices. Your hardware came with instructions. Follow that. If the IrDA hardware is installed, Smart Trak will open it. Meanwhile, the comp port question is not that hard to figure, supposing that your hardware is the same as the (incredibly limited) suggestion in the Uwatec guide: Try com3, if that doesn't work, try com4. bullshark |

To download my Citizen HA, I had to manually close the Hotsync software. Lee |
