I'm usually weighted at 11-12 lbs wearing a 3mm shortie suit. However, my wife also had one and when she put 16 lbs of weight in the pockets the weight pouches kept falling out. It happened repeatedly. Luckily nobody was below her, but we got tired of her shooting to the surface and having to dive to the bottom to retrieve them. We returned the BC to the shop and they returned hers to the manufacturer and gave us a refund. She now has a SeaQuest Balance that is a bit beefier but she likes very much. And here's a very helpful hint for travelling with your travel BC if you carry it in your carry-on luggage: remember to remove your dive knife before going thru security. I forgot it was on there - luckily my knife blade was not longer than 3 inches or I would have been arrested by the state police. But that's another story... Cheers!
