| Have had my Atmos 2 with console (Compass, SPG, Atmos 2,Knife) for over 3 years and it has been flawless! It is a nice computer and gets about a year on a battery (I avg 50-75 annual dives). Very reliable! -Pat On 1 Nov 2006 13:17:22 -0800, n7wdf@comcast.net wrote: >Hello all, > >am new to the group and diving, am doing my open water cert. next >week. > >I am looking for feedback about dive computers in general and >specifically the >"Aeris Atmos 2" have found it from a online from a internet site >in NY "leisurepro" for around $230... > > >Can you folks give me your opinion of the Aeris Atmos 2 , good or >bad ? > >and any good or bad experiences with "leisurepro" .com ??? > >Thanks, so much.... > >really looking forward to diving without "resort" restrictions.... > >J X R |

| I'm a certified scuba equipment technician, and I teach a class in using Aeris dive computers. Aeris makes excellent equipment now. Early models of their hoseless air integrated computers were problematic. Don't purchase from Leisure Pro. It is not an authorized Aeris dealer, and you will not get a warranty. If you should have a problem with the computer, you will need to take it to an authorized Aeris dealer for repair. The dealer will ask to see the sales receipt to establish if the computer is still under the manufacturer's 2 year warranty. n7wdf@comcast.net wrote: >Hello all, > >am new to the group and diving, am doing my open water cert. > >J X R |
