Default Modifying a Replica Navy MK-V Dive Helmet

Has anybody modified a replica Navy MK-V Helmet for actual dive use. I
am refering to the better quality replicas that sell for about $1K by
Innovative Scuba Concepts Inc.

I just purchased one from Mar-Vel and I am curious as to what mods, if
any, could make these helmets functional.

Well I just received my helmet, and as it turns out, it would require
significant modifying to make one of these replicas functional. All
of the hardware are dumbies and non-functioning. The replicas are
suitable for no more than decoration.
